SP 5 Seng Tea

The interdependence of Zang-fu networks in the body was said to be a circle of five things, once they are in harmony, the body will achieve the best status. It is like the rain falls and then evaporate into the air.

How to use “Wu Xing” in TCM to treat the body? Dr. Lee Sheng-Pu thinks that by regulating the five phases we can nourish the body. TCM considers the five elements can be mapped onto different body parts. The five ginseng (Ginseng, American Ginseng, Dang-Shen Root, Red-Rooted Sage, Figwort Root)we choose to correspond to different parts in the body, thus it can nourish different parts at the same time.

Five different kinds of ginseng corresponding the five elements (Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth). These five ginseng’s have five different colors and come from five different places.

Ginseng – Wood

Chinese has been using Ginseng for over 400 years, Ginseng is a famous nourishing herb as it contains more than 10 types of ginsenoside. Paektu Mountain is where the best Ginseng comes from. Sheng-Pu uses Ginseng from there.

American Ginseng – Metal

American ginseng is a herbaceous perennial plant in the ivy family, commonly used in TCM or traditional medicine. Sheng-Pu chooses the best American Ginseng from the northern part of America. It contains ginsenoside, polysaccharide, volatile oil, various amino acids, and more than 10 micronutrients.

Figwort Root – Water
